Growing up, my favorite movie was ‘Clueless’. I was just in love with Cher Horwitz’s style and I was more in love with her dressing room! To this day, I still want her dry cleaning inspired revolving closet. When I dream of making it big, the first thing I really want to splurge on is a fantastic dressing room that would make Cher green with envy!
Thankfully, for me, I came across Arhaus and I was inspired to create a mood board for the dressing room of my dreams. I always love a good challenge. So let’s get started, shall we?
First of all, you guys know that I love big bold colors and patterns. However, I am also a huge fan of the art deco architecture and style. I just saw that changing screen and I immediately knew that it would be the center of my dream design.
Every item in this my dressing room mood board just reminds me of ‘The Great Gatsby’ remake with Leonardo Dicaprio (again a movie I just love). Gold and luxurious with sharp golden geometric lines much like this poster here. To match, I found this fantastic sofa not only comfy but also gives me tons of retro feels.
Next, I added this beautiful gold floor mirror. I think my favorite part of this mirror you guys is the golden details around the frame. With the mirror, I paired it with this fantastic golden geometric style side table. I am personally in love with lines of this table, this table is diffidently a piece of art in its own right.
For the finishing touches, I added was a beautiful white and gold rug. I am such a fan of the pattern on it. It’s a perfect addition to my art deco dream dressing room. With the rug, I added this awesome chandler (because a good Chandelier always screams elegance). Then finally to top it off, is this white and gold simple floor lamp. And As it turns out Arhaus totally has loads of great lighting ideas that are always beautiful and elegant.
This is my dream dressing room that I hope to one day turn into reality? What items would have in your dream dressing room? Let me know down in the comments!
