As a stay at home parent, I am often too busy for picking out a nice outfit. I know I should pick out my clothes the night before, but I’m too lazy most of the time. So of course, I have to scramble to pick out an outfit the next day that will be not only be comfortable enough to do errands and clean in, but stylish enough that I won’t embarrass my kids when I pick them up for school. My own mother actually picked up my sister from school in a night gown, fluffy slippers, and hair rollers as a joke and my sister never got over that. My mom, however still laughs about it to this very day!
I am determined to put my own kids through that trauma. So I have to at very least look decent, but I don’t have a lot of time. This is the type of outfit I would totally wear if I want to look cute without a lot of work. I first went with this blazer, with side zippers (which if you don’t already know guys instantly dresses up any outfit). Then I paired it up with plain white t-shirt, white pumas, and a brown leather crossbody bag that is perfect to stuff a spare binky or snack for the kids in it.
The thing about this outfit that anyone no matter what their size call pull it off. It’s very basic and very doable no matter what your budget and all of the items are under $50.
So, what do you guys, think? Do you love it or hate it? Let me know down in the comments!
