It’s summer, and as a plus size woman, for me, dancing is the last thing I want to do. However, I can’t help but that there are some nights when you have to get dolled up and go out dancing either with your friends or your significant other. And it goes without saying that you want to look your best for that night on the town. So as always, I’m here to help with this awesome plus size outfit inspiration that will make getting dolled up all that easier.
Now, I have talked long enough. Let’s get down to breaking down this outfit, shall we?

First of all, there is this gorgeous plus size keyhole skater dress from Charlotte Russe. You know me, I’m all about affordability and reusability. I love items that I can use in many different types of outfits because you are literally getting more bang for your buck! Also, this dress counts as a little black dress and it is totally a staple you should have in your closet. And I personally just love the silhouette of this dress. It’s so flattering and chic and when I’m out dancing I just love a good swishy dress.
Now on to the accessories. I love the color gold because I’m black and gold makes my skin just pop no matter what type of outfit I’m wearing. And since the dress is so plain, it gave me permission to go all out with the accessories. So my first accessory is these gorgeous gold sparkly heels I found at target. I just the pattern and texture and it totally appeals to my inner magpie.
Next, I choose this lovely gold statement necklace that I found on eBay. Pro tip: If you want cheap costume jewelry, go to eBay. I swear my mother (whom I always borrow jewelry from) has bought so many fabulous items from eBay. Then, I added this rhinestone and gold clutch. It’s so sparkly and cute and it’s a great way to look dazzling on a budget.
Finally, I choose a pair of simple cubic zirconia gold studded earrings from Walmart. At first, I thought that I would get some big statement earrings. However, I think it would be too much and put the entire outfit out of balance. So went straight for simple studded earrings as well. I know personally cubic zonica gets a bad wrap, but honestly, if you are really not into huge expensive jewelry this is a cheaper way to look fantastic on a budget.
And this is my outfit for a plus size woman’s night on the town. What do you think? Do you love it or hate it? Let me know down in the comments!
