Happy Friday, everyone! Today I’m looking like I’m about to make boss moves in this fabulous plus size black jumper from Charlotte Russe and my only trench coat (I’m currently looking for an affordable tan trench). However, in these hotos, I’m at a bus stop because I don’t have a driver’s license. Yes, you heard it here first: I’m thirty-four years old and I don’t know how to drive. I know eventually that I will have to suck it up and get my license even though I’m terrified of being behind the wheel.
Anyway, back to the point of this story is that I’m broke. I haven’t done a piece of art since Christmas, and I haven’t had a client for even longer that. I’m broke as a joke, but I look fabulous on this bus stop. People would see me and think I’m a success because appearances can be deceiving.
I think it’s important to realize that even though a blogger, or an influencer, or a celebrity might be happy and smiling on their Instagram doesn’t mean it’s the whole story. I personally I am very careful what I put on social media. I never discuss all the real-life day-to-day struggles. For example, I’m broke, I struggle with agoraphobia, depression, and anxiety or how I almost had six children instead of five due to my baby sister’s utter stupidity.
See what, I’m saying? Appearances can be deceiving, yet I’m hoping to rise out of poverty and be my own success story. One day, I will be a high paid blogger and influencer. And maybe one day I will get back to creating art. One day, I will go to college and finally get that Graphic Design degree that I have been dreaming of.
However, that day is not today, so I will continue to fake it until I make it!

This is the second post that I’m wearing an item from Charlotte Russe!. I’m wearing a plus size jumper I bought it for like $10. It was on sale, but don’t worry Charlotte Russe has a new sale every week!
I just love this black jumper so much! It’s perfect to dress up (like I did in this photo) or dress down. You can even wear it at the office, and still look professional.
Over the jumper, I pulled on my glorious black trench coat that I love and I haven’t worn all season. I can’t remember the brand, so I showing you this nice alternative. The reason why I haven’t worn it until now is that I have been staying close to home because it’s too freaking cold to go out. With it, I added some black costume jewelry that came from my mother’s collection, and then my beautiful leopard print Fiori kitten heels pumps from Payless. Unfortunately, they are out of stock, so here is a cheap alternative.
Lately, Payless has become one of my favorite stores to buy cute and affordable shoes. I always find something great when I shop at Payless.
Then finally, I’m wearing my vintage faux alligator skin handbag that I totally adore. I just admire the texture and it really adds to the illusion of wealth. And once again, the handbag is out of stock so have this gorgeous faux alligator skin purse. And that is my outfit featuring the black plus size jumper from Charlotte Russe. What do you think? Do you love it or hate it? Let me know down in the comments!
