Can you believe that summer is ending? My kids go back to school on the 28th and the season just zipped passed me. And this is the perfect time to get that last minute vacation in before summer ends, and we start delving headfirst into all the Autumn shenanigans. So here is a plus style inspiration post that is all about holding on to those glorious vacay feels.
First off, we start off with this tropical print plus size blouse from Target. Ruffles, of course, is still in and probably be in for a long time yet. I just love the green color and the print is fabulous. Next, is a simple pair of white pants from Jessica London. These are pants are perfect if you want to slip something comfortable real quick. Not only, I like that the sizes reach 28W, but they come in both petite and tall. As a tall woman, this is a godsend because trying to get off the rack clothing to actually fit me is a pain in the butt.
Now on to the shoes, now I was originally was going to go with just a simple pair of low-heeled wedges. Then I got a look at these fantastic red espardlia shoes from online store Nasty Gal. I love the texture and the structure of this shoe. They are really an unusual type of shoe, and with the low heel, you can spend hours in them which is perfect if you are going out sightseeing.
So, now on to the accessories. I didn’t add a lot of them in this outfit because honestly if I’m sightseeing or just enjoying my vacation I really don’t want a lot of extra stuff on me. I like to keep it minimal on my vacations. The first accessory is this super cute brown fishnet bag that I found on eBay. Now, normally when it comes to summer textures I’m always about wood or straw.
However, I was inspired by a post by a fashion blogger who I can’t remember the name of right now who was rocking a fishnet purse earlier this summer. It really is a cute concept and its something that wants to tote around with you. Then finally, I choose these super cute rose gold sunglasses from Foster Grants. Now, I have been hearing about Foster Grants for a while when it comes to reading glasses, but they do also carry loads of affordable sunglass options in varied cute styles.
And that is my plus size outfit for a last minute vacation getaway. What do you think? Love it or hate it? Let me know down in the comments!
