Welcome back to some fresh new content! I have been gone for a while, but that’s because I had a bought of depression that would not let me go. And I figured my readers would appreciate good content instead of horrible content half-hearted content.
Now, I’m back to talk about one of my favorite items in my closet. My own plus size little black dress (or the TBD). If you don’t have one sitting in your closet you are missing out. They are a closet staple for a reason. Today, I’m going to show you a plus size little black dress outfit that is perfect for a night out or to a semi-formal event.
I have talked yammered on enough. Let’s get down to breaking down this outfit, shall we?
Note: They are affiliates links below. This means if you click on and buy from any the links I will get a small commission.
First is this black lace a-line plus size dress from PinkQueen. It’s been a minute since I featured them on this blog and I thought it was high time that I get off my duff. I fell in love with this dress from the moment I saw it. The silhouette is any plus size’s woman dream. It really gives the illusion of curves.
Next, as a pop of color, I decided to not use the color red. I always use red and I really wanted to try to reach outside of my usual comfort zone. I chose these gorgeous mesh turquoise high heeled sandals from Shoemall.com. It really continues that theme of mesh materials such as lace but just place eyelet mesh.
Now let’s talk accessories.! I say it once, but I will say it a million times my favorite part any outfit is the accessories hands down! This time is no different. First up, I decided to go with a very cute silver wrap clutch from Zappos? I freaking love Zappos! It’s not only shoes but all types of accessories and they are so affordable. It’s one of my favorite new affiliates to use.
Then I decided on the jewelry. For jewelry for a semi-formal to a formal event, I think it’s the best time to pull out your more expensive jewelry. So, these jewelry pieces are totally an investment. First up is this gorgeous sterling silver necklace from Elite Jewels that kind of reminded me of Tony Stark’s arc reactor. And since I’m towards of the end of my Marvel Madness because of ‘Avengers; End Game’ I was immediately drawn to this necklace.
And finally, a pair of sterling silver stud earrings also from Elite Jewels. They are just so pretty and elegant and the blue color matches the necklace pretty well.
This is my plus size little black dress outfit inspiration. What do you think? Do you love it or hate it? Let me know down in the comments!
